Returns Policy

Orders can be cancelled prior to delivery without incurring any cost. If the order has been dispatched then carriage charges will be incurred. Similarly if the customer is not available to accept delivery or delivery cannot be made due to access problems then return carriage charges will be payable.

In the unlikely event that you wish to return an item to us then as long as you advise us of this fact within 14 days the only charges you incur will be for the original carriage and return carriage charges. If any items are incorrect, damaged, or faulty please advise us immediately by email and mark the delivery note if applicable. All items must be returned in the same condition as received and in the original packaging.
After the 14 day period only faulty goods may be returned.
Please be aware that wood is a natural product. The moisture content of wood depends on local humidity and although most of our products (with the exception of those marked as green oak) are manufactured from kiln dried timber, humidity changes can result in small cracks appearing in the timber. This is particularly applicable to green oak products and is one of the attractive features of this product.
Please do not be alarmed if some cracks appear, this is a completely normal response to the wood's local environment and is not considered a fault in the product.
Repeated wiping with a damp cloth may raise the grain on certain types of wood. This is not a fault, but a swelling of the grain through contact with water and the board can be returned to its original state by resanding and refinishing with a proprietary food safe finish or natural oil (not vegetable oil).
